I am an Assistant Professor in
the Department of Political Science at the University of
California, Davis. My path here
took me from my hometown of Austin, TX to the University of
Pittsburgh, where I completed my
undergraduate studies in Political Science and Music, and continued on to get
my Ph.D. in Political Science. During
this time, I got to spend my summers traveling, researching, and learning –
attending the summer programs at ICPSR in Ann Arbor and EITM in St. Louis, along with yearly field work
interviewing ambassadors and diplomats.
After studying at Pitt, I spent an incredible year on a postdoctoral
fellowship with the Niehaus Center for Globalization
and Governance at Princeton University. From there, to Davis! |
